Ace's Interblag

My hobbies, music, art, programming, tend to come in phases. Occasionally the mood will hit me to do one or the other and I'll get into it pretty heavy for a few days, but then it dies off and I don't do it any more for ages. It makes it difficult to get particularly good at anything. I'm decent at a lot of stuff but not good at any one thing. If I could just stick with something for a long period of time, I know I could get good at it.. But anyway, that wasn't what I came here to post!

Sometimes I'll run into something that really motivates me or sparks the mood to do something. Recently I ran across this crazy character on youtube that posts videos of himself jamming out on his keyboard. This guy is really talented, he makes his own beats and then just improv jams to them live. The thing I like most about it is just how much fun he has doing it.

This is one of my favorites of his!




I find myself feeling really jealous when I watch his videos. He has so much fun. I would love to do something like jam out and have a blast, or paint awesome pictures or program cool stuff, but my hobbies always leave me frustrated. I'm never quite good enough in my own eyes to relax and have fun. But thats my own fault, if I just stick to something for a while I'll reach that point :P

But anyway! This guy has made me want to get back into music again, so I've been playing fairly often lately. Half the time I'm raiding I just /follow someone and turn to my keyboard and play around. Heres hoping I keep at it!
