Ace's Interblag

I've been painting up a storm (at least I was till WOTLK came out).. I have like 20 sweet pics in progress that I need to finish, which I'll do hopefully soon. But in the meantime I have just 2 new ones to show!

First off is one of my new favorites, it was actually a speedpaint, meaning it only took a couple hours and was done in one sitting without much focus on detail. Detail is usually where I break down, but this pic didn't need any more detail, in fact the lack thereof is why I love it so much. Go go go here here here for the full size!

This is the other finished one. It was a big experiment, not just on method but on subject as well. I wanted to try a new idea for directly painting colors and my usual landscapes just weren't a good fit for the style, so I gave a shot at doing a figure - my jedi character from the game Mike and I used to play! I know thats pretty high up there on the dorkometer but it was a lot of fun and I learned quite a bit painting this way.

Unfortunately thats all I've got for now.. Like I said though I have a lot in the works, some of which I'm really excited about! I just gotta get back into a painting routine.. WoW has been cutting into it these days!
